COM

COM is an abbreviation for Component Object Model, a model for binary code developed by Microsoft which can be accessed by any COM-compliant application. OLE and ActiveX are both based on COM.

You can ask to have your own, custom built, COM objects loaded on our servers and made available for use within your site. However, to limit the risk of your code causing problems on our servers, you must supply the object source code for us to check and compile prior to installation. A charge of £25 plus VAT is made for this service on each occasion.
